So he was very angry at the renegade Jews who had advised him to return to the country. He killed many of them before he decided to go back to his own land.
And he was angry with the wicked men that had given him counsel to come into their country, and he slew many of them: and he purposed to return with the rest into their country.
He was so furious with the traitorous Jews who had urged him to come to Judea that he put many of them to death. Then Bacchides decided to return to his own country,
